Today is Kevin’s 8 year anniversary at Hardware and we feel so lucky to have had him in our community for all this time! Deadlifts
Bar-facing burpees
RX: ♀ 155 lb ♂ 225 lb
Scaled: ♀ 95 lb, may step over bar on burpees ♂ 135 lb, may step over bar on burpees
Time cap: 10 minutes
- This is a SPRINT workouts which are typically designed to be
performed at or near max intensity the entire duration. - Pacing is critical (like many Open workouts). Those who have their eyes on finishing need to minimize rest periods and hold a higher pace. Those who are interested in maximizing the score but probably won’t finish will need to hold a slower, more controlled pace in order to make it further down the second half ladder.
- This workout will burn people up in the back and the lungs. The goal in this workout should be staying safe, being smart, and trying to maximize the score. Break-up the deads earlier than you think and save some of your energy to climb down the ladder. You can’t blow up in the first 55 reps.
