This month we “reset” our monthly focus and turn toward the 2022 CrossFit Open. To prep you for the Open we will retest one open workout each week. Each week we will retest a past Open workout and program on a Wednesday, Friday, or Saturday. This way we can start to prepare for performing the Open workouts and potentially retesting. As we lead up to the open, we will also build our workouts that will aimed at helping you improve on the most commonly programmed Open movements: toes-to-bar, double-unders, chest-to-bar pull-ups, and thrusters.

FUNCTIONAL FITNESS

 

Open Prep: Workout 18.1

 

Complete as many rounds as possible in 20 minutes of:

8 toes-to-bars

10 dumbbell hang clean and jerks (5 HC+J with L arm then 5 HC+J with R arm)

14/12-cal. row

 

Scale: 35/20 lb + hanging knee-raise

RX: 50/35 lb

 

AT HOME WORKOUT:

 

Complete as many rounds as possible in 20 minutes of:

8 V-Ups

10 dumbbell hang clean and jerks

1:00 Cardio
