TELL US A LITTLE BIT ABOUT YOURSELF. WHAT DO YOU DO OUTSIDE OF THE GYM?

I am an attorney, a mom to two incredible kids, Nicolo and Isabella, and I am married to my amazing husband, Franco.

WHAT INITIALLY GOT YOU INTO TRAINING AND WHAT KEEPS YOU COMING BACK?

I have been training for races for many years.  My husband and I compete in Ironman races and triathlons and I also run marathons.  My husband was a member at Hardware before I joined and he convinced me that joining would be a great way to cross train.  What keeps me coming back are the results that I see from the classes and the members that support me and my goals.

WHAT ARE YOUR FITNESS GOALS? HOW CLOSE ARE YOU TO REACHING THEM?

My fitness goal is to continue to increase my strength and cardio endurance.  I am always pushing myself to try harder and once I reach a goal I set another one.  Two goals I definitely have is to be able to do pull ups and toes to bar…I have a long way to go…

WHAT’S AN ACCOMPLISHMENT OR GOAL YOU’VE REACHED AT HARDWARE THAT MADE YOU THE MOST PROUD?

I have continued to be able to increase my weight on both my leg work and arm work.  Before I joined Hardware I was intimidated by bar bells and weights and now I feel so comfortable doing the skills.  I never did any serious strength training before I joined and it is really paying off.

FAVORITE WOD/MOVEMENT?

I love AMRAPS, EMOMS, anything cardio (including running) and Back squats.

LEAST FAVORITE WOD/MOVEMENT?

Burpees but I love how I feel after I have done them and I definitely see and feel the results from them.

ANY ADVICE FOR SOMEONE INTERESTED IN TRYING OUT HARDWARE?

This gym is unlike any gym I have ever belonged to. (and I have been a member of many sometimes several at a time when I am training so I can train near home or work)  The members are supportive, motivating and inspirational.  It is more like a family than a gym. The coaches are without a doubt top notch and they make fitness fun!
