TELL US A LITTLE BIT ABOUT YOURSELF. WHAT DO YOU DO OUTSIDE OF THE GYM?
I am a licensed professional counselor treating adults with OCD/Anxiety disorders. I grew up in the northwest suburbs of Chicago and went to College at the University of Arizona where I met my husband Mike. We just got married April 23! In my free time I love running the lakefront path, going to breweries, and hanging with our pup Buster.

WHAT INITIALLY GOT YOU INTO TRAINING AND WHAT KEEPS YOU COMING BACK?
I grew up competing in swimming, karate, cheerleading and was involved in dance since was 3. I love being active and trying new things. I hope to try rock climbing next.
WHAT ARE YOUR FITNESS GOALS? HOW CLOSE ARE YOU TO REACHING THEM?
Some fitness goals I have are to run a half marathon race and lift heavier! I wanted to run a half marathon race but when covid hit I subbed the races for a half marathon around my neighborhood. I probably haven’t lifted more than a 15lb dumbell before CrossFit Thanks Coach Parker for encouraging me to grab the heavier set!

WHAT’S AN ACCOMPLISHMENT OR GOAL YOU’VE REACHED AT HARDWARE THAT MADE YOU THE MOST PROUD?
A goal that I have accomplished is being able to keep up with all the awesome athletes at 6am. I am also proud of my recent overhead squat pr.
FAVORITE WOD/MOVEMENT?
I love a good long Wednesday workout. My favorite movement is back squats and dumbell snatches.

LEAST FAVORITE WOD/MOVEMENT?
Least favorite movement is by far the wallball. I don’t love burpees but I know they are good for you.
ANY ADVICE FOR SOMEONE INTERESTED IN TRYING OUT HARDWARE?
Advice to anyone wanting to try out hardware, just do it! I have had such a blast every week and have grown so much as an athlete in this supportive, fun, and encouraging environment.
