Laura teaches a Hatha-Vinyasa style of yoga that combines a flow through a sequence of poses and longer holds. Her classes are designed to help athletes gain mobility and strength, improve performance and prevent injury. While her teaching emphasizes safety and proper alignment, she encourages a playful and curious approach to finding what works best for each body. Laura believes in the significant power of yoga to improve mind and body, and loves sharing tiny insights that can add up to greater perspective.

Laura began practicing yoga regularly in 2004, as a way to complement a movement repertoire that included dance and functional fitness, and has been teaching since July 2019. In addition to Hardware, Laura currently teaches virtually through Bloom Yoga Studio, where she earned her yoga teaching certificate in June 2019. Prior to Bloom. Laura was a substitute teacher with the YMCA of Metropolitan Chicago, and has taught various styles and levels, including level 1, all-levels, vinyasa flow and chair yoga.
