Laura teaches a Hatha-Vinyasa style of yoga that blends flowing sequences with longer holds, aiming to help athletes improve mobility, strength, performance, and prevent injury. While emphasizing safety and proper alignment, she encourages a playful and curious approach to discovering what works best for each body. Laura believes in yoga’s profound power to enhance both mind and body, and she loves sharing small insights that lead to a greater perspective.
Laura began practicing yoga regularly in 2004 as a way to complement her dance and functional fitness routine. She has been teaching since July 2019. In addition to teaching at Hardware, Laura offers virtual classes through Bloom Yoga Studio, where she earned her teaching certificate in June 2019. Before Bloom, she was a substitute teacher with the YMCA of Metropolitan Chicago, and has taught a variety of styles and levels, including Level 1, All-Levels, Vinyasa Flow, and Chair Yoga.
