Tell us a little bit about yourself. What do you do outside the gym?
I enjoy working non-stop, I like talking about food but I hate cooking. I also maintain an active social life around the greater chicagoland area. I also do sports including bocchi.
What initially got you into training, and what keeps you coming back?
I heard about crossfit years ago. Then I moved back to aville after spending some time away. I got wind of a new gym opening and decided to check it out. Initially, proximity was the driving force. However, what keeps me going is the sense of community.
What are your fitness goals? How close are you to reaching them?
My goal right now is to maintain my endurance as I age and keep my knees from not hurting.
What’s an accomplishment or goal you’ve reached at Hardware that makes you the most proud?
Muscle-ups
Favorite WOD/movement?
Double-Unders and anything that works by abs.
Least favorite WOD/movement?
Snatch!
Any advice for someone interested in trying out Hardware?
Start super light and do it right
