"I am so happy and proud to be a member!"
I joined Hardware when I was 15 years old, a sophomore in high school, and had never done anything like it before. I was (and still am) much younger than everyone else there, and I was pretty intimidated at first. I quickly realized, however, that Hardware makes working out the opposite of intimidating. All of the coaches and other members are so welcoming and encouraging, there are always modification and scaling options, and it’s never a competition: you’re just expected to show up and do your best, whatever that may be. I also love the variety of classes — there are typical WODs, but also a High Intensity Interval Training class, as well as Yoga. Hardware really is a place for everyone, regardless of age, experience, gender, size, etc. I am so happy and proud to be a member!
