Bio
Lisa’s athletic background spans gymnastics, running, weightlifting, bodybuilding, and competitive CrossFit. Before joining Hardware, she also coached both CrossFit and nutrition.
Lisa brings three core values to her coaching: understanding, learning, and community.
First, she believes in truly understanding others. Lisa wants the athletes she coaches to feel genuinely seen—she takes time to learn about their goals, why they matter, and how fitness and community fit into the bigger picture of their lives.
Second, as a lifelong educator, Lisa values learning. She prioritizes coaching that builds awareness and teaches skills and habits that help individuals succeed inside and outside the gym. She’s equally committed to her own growth, continuously learning from Hardware’s athletes and fellow coaches.
Finally, Lisa values community. What drew her to Hardware—first as an athlete and then as a coach—was its inclusive, friendly, and supportive environment. Over the years, her relationship with fitness has evolved, and Hardware has become a source of healing, belonging, and joy. She’s excited to continue contributing to that community as part of the coaching team.
Outside the gym, Lisa enjoys running on the lakefront, hiking in nature, spending quality time with friends, exploring food and wine (from cooking to discovering new restaurants and local cuisines), and hanging out with her Boston Terrier, Lulu.
